Welcome! You’re about to plan your best conference EVER!
The tool that’s going to help you do this is our Annual Conference Planning Workbook. This set of worksheets will help you get started on the road to success, while avoiding the usual traps that make conferences a pain to organise and a boring snooze-fest to attend. If you’ve got yours already, great! If you don’t have it to hand, don’t worry just click here and get it now, then follow these tips on how to use it for best effect.
- Get away from your desk. Trying to think about this stuff with the phone going and email and message notifications pinging is just going to make it hard for you to concentrate. Our advice is to settle down somewhere quiet with a cup of your favourite beverage or go for a walk outdoors to think through the prompts and questions.
- Get old-school. You can fill the worksheets in online, but if you start thinking about your conference via a screen, how might that affect the end result? We’d suggest you do this the old-fashioned way: print it out, grab a couple of different colour pens, and then doodle, draw and annotate to your heart’s content.
- Get some space. This process works, and it works really well. We’ve done this with clients many times before. Typically we’d spend a 3-5 hours going through these questions. You don’t have to spend that long, but don’t rush it. Give yourself 20 minutes on sheet 1, and see how far you can get – it’s surprising how much you can achieve if you focus.
- Get help. If you need results faster we’ve got you covered! Feel free to book a call with us so we can accelerate the process and help you figure things out.
